WORDS FROM THE FRANKLIN STREET RESIDENT
"Week days are like an invasion. Right outside our front door
early morning to twilight. An occupation of our property
by the friendly, well intentioned Casella workers.
The trees are gone forever. The result of 'Public condemnation'.
Coerced by this we signed papers and took money.
We now have a Town of  Brandon permanent easement.
To the effect that the grantor's, my wife and I, can not plant or even allow
the growth of any trees in this area. Sad and ugly.
With some areas of the construction zone, trees are to be replanted.
For 28 years we've lived in the woods here, we're private people.
It's a little known fact, that for some resident's properties,
trees are not to be allowed at all.
